Just two weeks into the World Cup and we’ve already seen ingredients for a blockbuster movie. Landon Donovan scored a late goal in added time to seal perhaps the most dramatic time in American soccer history. USA advances!

Now you’ve all had chance to check out the talent from all of the countries participating in the World Cup we want you all to take your pick of your team of the tournament by picking the top 11 players you would have in your own World Cup team for our World Cup featured question:

Who would you choose to be in your World Cup team of the tournament?

To ask this question we’ve partnered with Brooks Peck from our very own ‘Dirty Tackle’ on Yahoo! Sports.

At the end of the tournament Brooks Peck will be choosing his own `Team of the Tournament` and the first response to match his will get the best answer and 110 BONUS POINTS — that’s 10 points for each player on your team!

Remember, as with any soccer team you’ll need to include just ELEVEN players:

-         A goalkeeper
-         Defenders
-         Midfielders
-         Forwards

But the formation is entirely up to you!   One more `rule`: The players must have appeared in the World Cup, too!

Once you’ve formed your team, why not share it with your Facebook friends by publishing your answer to this question?  See what they think of your team choice and if they want to make their own!

Still can’t get enough of the World Cup?  Get the latest World Cup 2010 news and coverage here.

Hosting “Saturday Night Live” might not be good enough for Betty White – everyone wants her on the big stage. Facebook fans have now launched a new page, “Getting Betty White to Host the Academy Awards.”

Just days after hosting “SNL” for the first time on Saturday night — thanks to a Facebook campaign called “Betty White to Host SNL…Please?” — fans want to see more of our favorite “Golden Girl.” On Sunday night, the new page already had over 6,000 fans, and today it has over 17,000. Might we see the 88-year-old handing out Oscars?

The Betty White “SNL” campaign proved very successful:  With musical guest Jay-Z, Saturday night’s episode saw its highest ratings in more than 18 months. After rave reviews, Betty White proved that she still has her comedy side. Did you watch “SNL”? What did you think? Where do you want to see Betty White next?

Mmm…do you prefer an elegant rabbit with hot apple jelly from one of the best restaurants in the world, or a mouth-watering burrito from the hole-in-the-wall place down the street?

If you picked the rabbit, you should know that Restaurant Magazine will announce the S. Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants on Monday, April 26. Each year, the list is compiled by famous chefs, renowned food critics, and leading restaurateurs, and is certain to cause debate. Makes sense that everyone’s experience at a restaurant is different. So as we wait patiently for this year’s list, go ahead and take a look at what made last year’s list of World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

If you picked the burrito, there’s no award for the mom-and-pop place, but we’re sure the great food and reasonable prices are good enough. Hole-in-the-wall restaurants tend to be unique and can be a hidden secret from the rest of the world. So let the community and the team in on the secret! What’s your favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant or café? What makes it different?

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, there’s one thing about this time of the year that everyone can take advantage of: the candy.

And nothing says Easter like the marshmallow-y and sugary sweet treat, Peeps.

But did you know that scientists have actually proven that these sugary sweet delights are essentially indestructible. It’s true. You can read about it here.

Scientists aren’t the only ones with a fierce fascination with these sparkly, sweet treats—the Answers community has one too—you all have asked questions about these sweet delights, ranging from things like “Do different colored peeps have different flavors?” to “Is there religious significance in the candy called Peeps?

People are fascinated by these gooey, sparkly treats—why, we find ways to celebrate them in a variety of ways: through costumes, “Peep Show Dioramas” hosted by the Washington Post, and even through Do-it-Yourself Peep recipes.

Yes, it’s safe to say that come Easter, no matter what religion you are, you’re bound to pick up or come across a box of Peeps—even if it’s just to toss them in the microwave to watch them expand exponentially. Enjoy, and don’t forget to come back here and share your favorite Peep recipes and questions with the Answers community!

Ahh, March. If you’re a college basketball fan, this time of the year means one thing to you: March Madness. For many, part of getting ready for the season means preparing your bracket, and getting your “picks” together. For some, this is all just fun and games, but for others, it’s a science. And, this science even has a name: “bracketology.”

It’s the science of picking winners and knowing who will be the last team standing in the end. Whether you believe in the science of it all, or, are just in it for the game, there are loads of resources popping up on the web this year making it easier for you to stay in touch with your fantasy picks and favorite teams, including Yahoo! Sports “Tourney Pick’em” fantasy sports bracket. (And, this year you can win up to a million dollars if you end up with a perfect bracket!)

Online selections open on Sunday, March 14th and close Thursday, March 18th, but you can start creating a pool of your favorite Answers friends, college buddies, or office mates now while you wait for the tournament field to be announced on the 14th.

Or, if you’re looking to meet a few fellow Yahoo! Answers users who also love basketball, you’re welcome to join our bracket, found here.

Need some last minute tips and information on this year’s teams from Kansas and Kentucky? Don’t forget to check out the Basketball category on Answers in addition to the NCAA section on Rivals But remember– if you’re asking specifically about your fantasy picks, be sure to place your questions in the appropriate category: Fantasy Sports.

Good luck!
