Nominate a Featured User!
It’s that time again! And just in time for the holiday season. Please take this time and nominate a community member ‑ someone who provides great contributions and goes above and beyond.

Here are some tips to help find our the next winner:
1. The points or levels do not matter. So they don’t have to be Level 7!
2. Look closely at the user’s answers. Are they good quality answers? Do they provide necessary sources?
3. Look at your fans/contacts or the leaderboard of your favorite category. You can nominate a user whose answers helped you resolve a specific issue.
4. Look at questions too! Nominate someone who asks good, knowledge-seeking questions.
If you have someone in mind, email us at y_answrs_favorites@yahoo.com. In the subject line put “Nominate a Featured User.” In your email tell us why you nominated this user and provide the link to their profile.
Please do not nominate a user in the comment section!
Lastly, in case you were wondering, yes, you can nominate yourself!

Better be the user who contributes better and ever! Who will it be?
Good luck everybody!
I have read the blog on the feature user for this month and it inspires me. Can’t wait to know who will be the next one.
Its a good feature for the top contributors. User can show himself a great one with its knowledge and content.
Its nice feature. From this we can know about the content and the top contributor.
Are people who use alias accounts or change their name/picture daily allowed to be nominated? Because I don’t think they should.
Since people do that so as to not draw attention to their main account, it seems the only thing to do is help them maintain that privacy by not putting them in the limelight.
How are we suppose to look at their questions and answers when some people have their stuff all on private?

I hope I win, just started out but I like helping others with there problems.
the nominated person should be super active and not only answer our question but also give out question, and their answers must be detail and solve most of our quetion. Not only detail but simple and easy to understand..

Is there a reward for being the featured user, or is the person just recognized? I am excited to know who it will be this time around!!!
I try to answer questions to the best of my ability, I usually do get voted BEST answer to 99% of the questions I do answer. But right now I am confused…I am trying to help a young girl in college who has been in an abusive relationship! But Yahoo Answers will not POST my ANSWER which is by far the best answer I have ever tried to submit! That just makes me sad.. Because this young woman is being bullied by some guy, I gave her the greatest advice I had to offer her! But YAHOO WONT POST THAT FOR ME!!
