i deffinitly think valentines day should be viewed differently these days it shouldnt be all about the women and making men feel like they have to spend money and buy presents which usually is flowers with chocolate and a present n card! i feel bad and i think men find it stressful. and women dont seem to think they have to make as much effort as the man. that he should do all that plus pay for dinner! nope not me, me and my fiance dont buy gifts because we dont need presents to say I Love U we r happy without it but we do have a nice meal together and get a movie and i think it should always be split and both pay even!. Men should be treated as much as women!

I spent Valentine’s Day with my kids. We went to a nursing home and handed out chocolates and glittery foam hearts to the residents. That was a whole lot of fun.

i was too fast for myself in voting. however, it is best if the man pays, but, if girls have the money and the man does not have enough for two dinners for them both, it is better for the girl to help pay or else you would have to stay home when you could have gone on a big Valentine Date. why miss out on all of that fun when you could have gone. i loved the poll Yamster and thanks for the Valentine Poll.

I think Valentines Day should automatically be one day a week. Then maybe there’d be less divorces and more couples would learn to really appreciate who they are with. Just sayin’.

This Valentine’s is one of the best that I had in a long time because I got to spend it with someone that actually cares for me, the way Valentine’s Day is meant to be spent.
I dont always celebrate valentines day.. But when i do, i prefer to spend it FOREVER ALONE

There are several questions i did not answer, reason being none of the choices fit for me.
-I would like to stay in and have a romantic dinner (spend all day and night loving each other and laughing together) (no romantic movie)
-I don’t “definitely” believe either one should pay. I usually pay, whether i am with friends OR family OR my old man. (though we usually fight over the check / bill, each of us wanting to get to the bill / check and pay it before the other one, lmfao)
-I do believe in “on line dating”, in the sense that that is where i met my old man. Through a mutual (former) friend. They were best friends, like brothers. I even ended up leaving everything and everyone I knew (originally from, born and raised in, HI to come here and be together with him). (He bought my plane ticket and came and got me at the airport. Even after i said i would never leave the island and am deathly afraid of flying in airplanes, lmfao) And we are still together going on 2 years strong and looking forward to many more to come.
But, as for actual “Dating Sites”, no.
Anyone else think Valentine’s Day is like Halloween. I mean, it’s just an excuse for people to be someone they’re not. Come on, if you were really this person, you wouldn’t only show it once a year.
i personally hate the idea of having someone doing something just cause they have to. I told my boyfriend that I truly didnt want to do ANYTHING on V day. but since i happened to have my day off and do our usual lounging at his place, we ended up have a wonderful time of watching tv being silly to eachother and some other fun activities. But just cause we usually do that anyways it was just a good time rather then a set of expectations of being “romantic”. I would rather he do anything just cause he can.
Last question doesn’t really apply for lesbian couples like me. We just have to split even for the tips.
