10 Costume Ideas for Halloween!

With Halloween fast approaching do you guys know what you’ll be for Halloween? The Halloween Category has plenty of users asking for costume ideas. If you’re still stumped, here are 10 ideas for last minute costumes that don’t include the bed sheet ghost, and will make an impression at your work, school or house Halloween party!

  1. Biker: Black leather, white tee, bandana, sunglasses.
  2. Where’s Waldo: Red and white striped tee, beanie, eye glasses, jeans.
  3. Pageant Contestant: Formal dress, tiara, sash.
  4. Jellyfish: A clear umbrella, party streamers or ribbons.
  5. Highway: Black clothes, yellow electrical tape down your torso, toy cars.
  6. Cowboy: Cowboy hat, boots, corduroy, plaid shirt.
  7. Snooki or Amy Winehouse: Tight mini dress, black wig, dramatic makeup.
  8. Danny Zuko (Grease): Old black leather jacket, hair gel, jeans, t-shirt.
  9. Men in Black: Black jacket and black pants, white collared shirt, dark glasses.
  10. Charlie Sheen:  Khaki shorts, bowling shirt, high socks, loafers, carry a bottle of “Tiger Blood” and say “Winning!” a lot.

  5. Take a sandwichboard and write the History of Halloween on it. Make sure you have a pair of glasses and you’re wearing a button-down shirt with a bowtie, as well as dress shoes and a pair of khakis.

  6. I love this one. Strip down and go out trick or treating with just a pair of roller blades on. If anyone asks (and I’m sure they will), one can claim that they are a pull toy.

    I’m tempted but I’m too old to go to jail.

  12. I’d say nothing with negative themes. For instance, devils, darth vaders, pirates, vampires, swords through the heads, etc. It’s typical of human nature to focus on negative things. Also, it can be a reflection of a person’s way of thinking. And, what people project out, is what they get back. Negativity originally went into Halloween because of Christian dogma.

  13. I am going as a ninja! :) all you need is a black shirt, black pants, black shoes and something black to tie around your head (tie, scarf and many other things). And most of this stuff you already have so it doesn’t cost too much.

  17. @Aquarius No the history of halloween was all about monsters and evil spirits lurching around and in order for people to deter the monster and spirits they left out treats

  18. I’m going as Candy Land. I bought a game and a white sweatshirt. I put the cards on the white sweatshirt and taped them down. Then drilled holes through the people and wear them as a neckalace. Then I taped candy on the sweatshirt and then I’m going to wear sweat pants with candy on them

  21. One year i went as a bush. You dress in all green or different shades of green (preferably in a old/crappy t-shirt) Then you go into the woods and find a tree or bush with some little almost twig-like branches with leaves and use green duct tape safety pins or glue and attach them to your shirt. or you could gift wrap a box with Christmas wrapping paper cut out holes for arms had and legs and then put a big red bow on the head

  25. crazy color lady! black hightops, fluffy ankle things, bright pink leggings, neon yellow tutu, bright blue off the shoulder shirt, neon green underneath, rainbow earrings, blue hair extension, green and neon pink flip up glasses.
    woah… didnt think I was wearing that much.
    OH and socks that have all different neon colors half way up to my knees..

  35. 1)a longish dress try to be as formal as possible!
    2)white pale face and hands.
    3)a bow in your hair with a pony tail.
    4)a small kardi but try not to be sparkley!
    5)and a ballon to hold in one hand! try heleam!!
    atually this is quite freaky i might try it! i would recormend straitining long hair bcuz this would go with the hair style! chekard dress will work! but if you dont have a ballon use a basket!! that would be cool with dasies in!!

  36. A single bed sheet without alterations makes a great toga. Lots of sites explain different ways of draping it. If you have any, add gold or red tape to the edges for an added royal effect. Use a wire coat hanger and attach real leaves or plastic ivy to make a headpiece.

  40. I would ask that you *please* remove “Snooki” from this list. Her and the entire “Jersey Shore” cast promote negative stereotypes of Italian-Americans and make a mockery of our heritage. This is a very ethnically insensitive Halloween costume.

  42. i am dressing up as a corpse by putting grey lines on my face for wrinkles and flour too, this makes you look like you have been 6 feet under for a while also wearing smart suit with chalk dust on it for that added effect.

  48. I liked my Wizard costume I wore to work last year…

    Housecoat, Dollar store Witches hat (Could substitute an apropriately decorated head sized cone of paper) Broom handle wrapped in paper towel and decorated with pipe cleaners (as Wizard’s staff) – If you don’t already have a beard, (like I do) you’ll need a fake one…
