Do you think George Best was the greatest all round player ever ….even better than Pele, Pele seems to think so….so do I, the guy was not only a genuis player but he could take the hardest knocks from the hardest defenders of his time and they were hard men knocks that would have Ronaldo crying for his mammy, plus George was a cheeky bugger too, he could rip teams apart single handedly and did ……often!!!

Hi David, Is it too late for me to attempt to play professionally? I am currently 23 years of age.
I grew up in Africa and developed the skills however I was not fortunate enough to be coached and thus my physical conditioning is not where it needs to be. In your opinion, who is the one player you will never forget playing with or against?

I hate to bring up the infamous 1998 red card incident again but I’ve always been curious about it. I maybe assuming too much here by saying that that incident may have been one of the lowest points in your career and I apologized if I’m wrong but I was wondering…
How did that incident affect you as a person and as and athlete and how were you able to discipline yourself and make a hugely successful comeback to regain back the trust of the England fans when they had so easily turned their backs on you?
The reason why I would like to ask this question is because the admiration I have for you as a soccer player as I am an avid soccer player myself. I always want to seek advice on how to improve on my game on and off the pitch and to prepare for some possible upsets in the future. I always find it hard to get over the huge mistakes I make in a game and would like know which aspects of your life help to overcome those obstacles on the pitch.

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments, the ones that will matter the most are the goals we make offering hope in another human beings life. You are finding a way to be a phenomenal athlete and yet have not lost perspective on the world around you and your family. Your contribution to UNICEF is honorable and well received I am quite sure.
On another subject, you looked so amazing at the tennis matches. My question is: How do you wear a suit to a match? Very classy, but you must of been quite warm, it was hard to concentrate on the tennis with you in the stands. .
How do you focus on your free kicks with such pressure and finish it off with a beautiful bend?

Do you think video replay should be used in football/soccer matches? How do you feel about using technology to change the rules of the game. For example, when Ghana was playing against Uruguay and a goal was stopped by a hand ball that should be an automatic goal because its in the net area. I think handballs by players anywhere else on the field should get a red card. I guess to be 100% accurate referee calls like that could only be made with the help of technology.
