I am surprized that no one mentioned football as a Thanksgiving or after Thanksgiving tradition. I went and saw a Championship playoff for the UFL. Las Vegas Locos and Florida Tuskers. I haven’t been too intrested truthfully in the movies that have come out in the past few months.

My Thanksgiving weekend this year was pretty good. The day before the big day, I got together with some friends that I haven’t seen in a long time which was nice. Then, I spent quality time with my family over the next few days. On Sunday, I saw “New Moon.” Like the book, the pace was fairly slow. Dakota Fanning’s character (Jane) was my favorite part of the entire movie. Personally, I prefered reading “Eclipse” so I’m sure that the movie will also be good.
As far as movies go, I’ve noticed a general pattern: Normally, the big block-buster, action-packed films come out during the late spring/summer season and the family-friendly and inspirational type of movies come out during the holiday season. I thought that this summer in particular was a great time for movies! My favorites were: “Star Trek,” “Terminator Salvation,” “Harry Potter 6,” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

I usually see a movie alone every weekend, I just buy a soda and whatever sounds good I am there, I have a friend sometimes but not that often. I do not date or anything like that, which usually gets someone mad but I really do not care. I try to leave the house every day for work or just go to the store. I enjoy almost any movie, except for chick flicks or childrens movies

I probably won’t be going to the theater, but, I go to the hospital to eat and they have leftover Thanksgiving plates. I had one today-ham, stuffing, and potatoes and gravy. Yummy. That is what I will be doing. And shopping and getting my mitts on everything I possible can. Ha. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving Yamster. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
