Ask Mike: suggest a column
Did you know that the first “Ask Mike” column appeared on the Yahoo! Answers blog on January 8th, 2008? Since then, Mike has written 390 posts on topics that include everything under the sun- ranging from posts on whitening your teeth, to how to fix a bad haircut, to the most common words used in the English language. Mike has covered a bit of everything.
Over the years, you’ve left literally thousands of comments on Mike’s blogs discussing his posts, suggesting new topics for him to post about, and engaging with other Answers community members.
Now, we’d like to invite you to continue the discussion on the Ask Mike Yahoo! Group, found here: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/AskMikeonAnswers/ – you’ll still find Mike’s posts here on the Answers blog, but will now have the opportunity of shaping future entries by joining the group and suggesting ideas for future posts!
Feel free to stop by the group, share your thoughts and suggestions, and who knows, maybe your ideas will be featured in the next “Ask Mike” column!

How much longer until society gets better? People are rude, especially on the road. Capitalism doesn’t work. It is just a machine that dehumanizes us. Colleges keep graduating people, but there aren’t any jobs for them. Etc., etc., …
For a long time I have noted the irony in the fact that Mike here can chat away in this features section about whatever interests him, whether or not it’s beneficial to the YA community.
Yet if an avtual YA USER evn asks anything remotely chatty, they get a Violation Notice, their post deleted, and possibly a suspension.
How do you, as overseer’s of this site, justify that double standard?
I’m quite sure I’m not the only one one who questions this.
certainly one of my favorite topic(censhorship) i would like to know if Dr. Teddy will get an anwer to his question? Surely a choice of topic for you Mike
why am i thinking about war here?
peace on you bros
Why does Mike get to talk about whatever he feels like, and we don’t here? My worst offence has been getting a little too friendly.
lol at the first two comments. I’ve never taken a business management type class, I wonder if they have sections dealing with idiot customers who are ego centric with an undeserved sense of self importance.
It’s not a double standard, they run the place. Y!A isn’t about entertainment and chatting, it’s about trying to create a place where people ask and answer — the blogs are chatty because they’re blogs and are totally separate idiots.
And I love the society crap, as if 10,20,50,100,1000 years ago there was this utopia where none of the present day problems existed.
how tall is olympus its 4 my math question
orangehonda is a case in point of how rude people can be today. And improvement does not start until somebody points out the problem.
