Additions to our blog
Have you noticed? Our Yahoo! Answers blog has received a little makeover-we hope you like it. With its new functionalities, you can now:
- Rate posts.
Now you can give any post a rating, with the option to also leave a comment. Just roll over the stars at the end of each post and click on the star that represents your rating on a scale from 1 to 5. Start rating away!
- Share or save posts on popular social networking and bookmarking sites.
With a single click you can post updates on your favorite social networking site, such as Twitter or Facebook. Here’s how: At the end of the post, click “Save” and select the network you want to post and share it on. Easy and convenient!

- View the highest-rated posts.
Do you want to know which posts the community liked most? You can view the highest-rated posts in real time under the “Highest Rated” heading on the sidebar.

If you use Twitter and want to keep up-to-date with the Answers blog, simply click “Follow us on Twitter” at the bottom of the sidebar and add us to your contacts.

YAY! New stuff!
There needs to be a way to add a post to your private watch list or star it or something so you can revisit it later.
NEW additions? I’ve been rating posts for a while now.
cool
That’s really cool!
When did you add the tag cloud? This the first time I’ve noticed it.
I love new features, and discovering the old ones.
Thanks & Keep up the good work.
While its great your adding features to the blog, I think you should worry less about marketing the site when all of yahoo answers has many features that doesn’t work.
Wow.yahoo just gets more and more intrusive all the time.Do you have as much spyware as Facebook adn Myspace?
Instead of wasting time working on blogs and trying to say that you did something, why not invest some time in fixing the broken Community Moderation system.
Another new feature? The three YEAR old promises to add features, fix features, and fix bugs are still out there, but we have time to create new features. Who is running this joint? The government did a better job with the Osprey.
Now, work on a way to get the Spell Checker to recognize place names such as Monterey and Los Angeles; and brand names such as Glock, Mossberg, and Ruger; and things will be better. Essentially, what I’m suggesting is a way to add spellings.
I would like to suggest a topic for the hamster blog.. I am not sure if this is where I do that, but I’ve noticed on Answers that during this recession and times of struggle that many are posting that they feel suicidal. It seems like there are becoming an increasing number of posts not knowing where to turn. Some type of supportive words would be encouraging. Or feel that we are here for them.
Thanks, D

Yeah. I love these new features. I can share whatever interests me!
