Hello,

Maybe the answer to my is here, but I didn't find it.

I have a question now 6 day 14 hours old (e.g. 10 hours left). No one has yet to provide any answer, which is better than a kid trying to make a joke.

My question is simple: What happens to the points Yahoo! Answers deducted when I wrote the question?

The answer and the comments are clear on what happens when a "No Best Answer" (NBA) occurs to your points. Unfortunately, it isn't clear (to me) what happens to the point when no answer occurs after 7 days. Hence my question (see above) on what happens to the deducted points when a NBA occurs.

Thank you - in advance - for your time, consideration, and help! /bow

/bow is a Final Fantasy XI (FFXI) command that causes an avatar to bow to the target, in this cause bow to you.

Why do questions with clear winners go into tiebreaker mode? As I type, I have an answer in one question that received 67% of the votes and another that has 100% of the votes, yet both questions are listed as needing a tiebreaker. Is this a bug, or a feature I’m failing to understand?

I agree with the first poster. The moderation is inconsistent, and this hurts Yahoo! Answers.

Numerous times, a multiple choice question has been deleted for violating the community guidelines. Yet, one person has 40 such questions up.

"Why not let the ASKER pick ” No Best Answer” ??"

I have to second this. Honestly, when I ask a serious question, and the only answer is "IDK. Thx 4 2", there is no best answer, and it's beyond frustrating knowing that someone is going to get 10 points for that!

Why does it have to go to vote, when there clearly is no "reasonable" answer, let alone a good one?

It really make me feel good and my answering questions worthwhile when the person who asked the question replies that my response helped them.

How long will it be in the "In Voting" or "Open for Voting" state, I have a starred list in witch I vote on Unresolved questions and some date back 3 years, I have clicked on "No Best Answer" and would be the only one to have voted on the question in 3 Years. So you say that The questioner will get 5 Points Back. How long do they have to wait? I have lots of Unresolved Starred Questions, When will they be deleted and points given back to the questioner, also some of them I star won't show up on my Starred List, mostly this happens with the questions I star that are 2+ Years old "In Voting" Any way to fix it?
