...And then a unicorn descends from the sky and skewers the lunatic, when the unicorn flied away splattered in gore you suddenly realize that your feet have become stuck. Thinking quickly, you whip out your jar of petroleum jelly, and lubricate your feet, allowing you to continue frisking through the field or whatever you were doing.

Dr. Phil is right, at least it worked for me. The really problem was my ultra-weird ending to my dream (which involved raining lollipops, and a coke can filled with old hiking boots).

I don't know if anyone has suggested this but if so, I am supporting.

Generally when we have recurring dreams, there is something going on in our waking moments that we are not dealing with.

Just as the dream that began. He dreams that he is being chased and just about when he is almost caught, he wakes up.

What are you running from in your life. There is something that you do not want to face or deal with.
I can pretty much guarantee, that if you review what going on with you, and be honest with yourself, and deal with whatever it is, that you will stop having that dream.
What ever it is that you do not want to face is troubling you and you do well by hiding it when you are awake, but when you sleep, it comes and shows you a distorted picture that will make you feel.
So weather it is a monster, crazy maniac, or whatever, it scares you and that is what the dream shows through feelings.

Deal with your issue and make that dream go away.

Dreams are just that dreams. Its your unconscious mind, they stem from things we do or say or even see threw out our day.Very rarely do they actually make sense, but that's the beauty of it. They aren't suppose to make sense. Don't be stressed over something you have absolutely no control over. Take it for what it is, just a dream. that fact it keeps repeating is cause you think about it allot. therefore it remains in your unconscious mind.

I have alot of dreams of flying and some kind of creature is trying 2 grab my feet. I read up on it and the dreambook said that people who have flying dreams is a sign of being gifted. I don't know, however it's pretty scary@ times. I also dream alot about water.

I had a problem with nightmares when I was very young. I found the cure was to learn to recognise that it was a nightmare and wake up to escape it. They stopped after a while. The thing is to look for clues. Nightmares seem very real, but there are always things that don't add up or make sense in a nightmare. When you you learn to spot these clues and realise that the nightmares are not real, they stop coming. The down side is that you start spotting nice dreams are not real too and you stop having them too.

I don't really know if I can have lucid dreams, but I did like some others and knew how to wake up. The thing is when I do it, I always think of what I'd do in real life, and it happens. Most of the time when I know I'm leaving is: I turn around and I look whatever in the face, and it slows down. Then in about 3 seconds when it's right near my face: Poof! It's gone. I had a recurring dream one night, and then I ate some food and found out that I was just hungry. I went back to bed and had the dream again. This time I looked the creature in the eyes and Poof I'm gone. Never had that dream again, never want to either, but it all depended on my stomach.

Huh. I think I'm one of those lucid dreamers. I do that all the time. I had a nightmare the other morning that I changed when I started waking up.
