I also agreee with Lola, my previous account was actually DELETED for “chatting”. How in the world is asking for help on fixing my computer chatting????

I can find the answer to a question I have can you help me. The problem I am having is that when I answer a question my computer eather closes the page down or an error page comes up say microsoft has encounted a problem and needs to close very frustrating it happens about half way thruogh my answer. Is this a security problem ?How do I stop it ?from happening If you cant help me can you direct me to some one who can ?

I just fall in love all over again with yahoo, especially with yahoo answer, since it’s one simple way to give back and share knowledge with community, local or globally. Go Yahoo!

I agree with Lola.
While this all sounds very nice and user friendly, the reality is totally different. I have come to the conclusion that Yahoo, despite their claims of being ‘fun’ loving are far from it. Maliscious reporting, appeals that are a waste of time, far too many technical problems and a total lack of ‘Customer Service’ are the norm. Trying to get actual answers is impossible, and believe me I have tried. Having read the so called ‘Guidelines’ many times and even having referred to them by quote, they are still subjective interpretations and heavily slanted towards whomever has the ‘duty’ at that time. There is no recourse for a user who feels they are wrongly targeted. For example, your definition of ‘chatting’ seems to include any time someone asks a question. I posted a humourous poem and asked if people agreed with the sentiment of it. It was removed as ‘Not a question.’ I asked do people gloat after a friend’s (sports) prediction proved wrong, or should they leave it alone..removed for chatting. By definition, any question which gets an answer could be construed as ‘chatting.’
This place used to be fun. One could easily find serious questions/answers, or one could count on a light chuckle to even a belly laugh. Now.. who knows when your account will be suspended or any question/answer will be removed.
Subjective interpretation, where logic and humour are not allowed.
yeah…getting in touch with Yahoo is so effective when one requires an answer.

What do you do when an appeal comes back and it is incorrect? I don’t think the community reads the appeals and that upsets me causing me to want to boycott yahoo all together. What should I do and who can I complain too?

I like email for keeping in touch.

It’s faster than regular snail mail, doesn’t have the “phone tag” problems with phones (cell or land line), and it’s certainly cheaper than cell phone charges….
