I think we should send Yahoo violation notices for every coffee break & breather taken. It’s against our rules.
I am now concerned about my Level 7. I’ve been working toward getting it on my first anniversary with Y/A on 18 November. Are these two down days going to effect me reaching my goal on the 18th?
I know that I can say “no fair” until the cows come home and nobody cares. But this is a goal I set for myself nearly a year ago and I hate to see it go down the drain.

i think that every add request should have to be approved by the user. it is not right that even though i have my account on private that when i am asleep someone can add me and raid my q & a. it is a major weakness that aides the trolls big time.

IJR hopes you guys are updating and fixing the Community Moderation system. You know it’s really not working the way it is now, right?
I’m not going to sit here and complain that you are updating, or give you demands as to what to update.

I hope you fix the “feature” that changes the end of every topic to a question? As you can tell, it makes some statements look like nonsense?
I certainly hope you also update the people that deal with giving violations and looking at appeals! I don’t always agree with the violations that are given and approved…especially when you just say HUH? and you get a violation and appeal denied. Do not understand that at all….
Some of these violations are really ridiculous!

Thanks for working while we sleep. I have enjoyed this site for 2 yrs. now. I feel I am being helpful & recieving help as well. I almost gave up this site awhile back as it seems I could not do anything with out getting a violation notice. I had to change my name & move from a catagory I liked to get away from the person or persons violating me. Fix up that.

can you guys split the wrestling section into 3 sections? the wwe section,the tna section,and others because the fight over the brands is becoming annoying.
Maybe they will NOT SUSPEND PEOPLE after deleting then UNdeleting a question. I remain suspended after they apologized and re-posted my question.

you guys should make it so when you search for question that you should show them in sections like open/in voting questions then answered questions!!
Please either clean up the Elections section from all those assasnation and racist questions or delete it.
Deleting it would be a better idea.

We all realize it will take a number of hours to remove the word “Google” in every answer posted here.
To the guy who is moaning about he cant wait for 4 hours.. I almost want to puke.. if your life is that boring something is wrong dear. You seriously should get over it. YA is suppose to be a hobby not a job. Some ppl have to be on here at least 16 hours a day.. gross.
I hope they do a new style background to Yahoo Answers!

Answers is a great place to be to pass the time, and I’m glad that you’re improving it.
Oh, and thanks for doing it at a probalby lower traffic time (or at least while I sleep! you chose the right time for ME!). I looked at it and said, “oh no” but then saw the AM.

Oh, and could you change the Moderation a little. I was a little fuzzy on what some rules were, and reluctant to make certain actions (*cough* reporting *cough* *cough*).
Latley I had a little problem. I asked a question, and the firrst suggested catagory (which did NOT make sense to the question: I have this dillemma in my chorus, any advice?) was “Swimming and Diving”. I passed right over it, and clicked on “Preforming Arts”. Now, when I got an answer, I looked and saw it said In “Swimming and Diving”. I have NO IDEA how that happened! Please, check that out.

Please have 10 (not 9) in the Top Ten Answerers in the “Diet and Fitness” category.
Please do whatever you can about people answering a question and saying, “now you answer mine,” and leaving a link. And, of course, the spam links. (Especially when they have nothing to do with the question!!)

Is it possible for you to have the spelling on all of the portions where we are writing something? In one place you have the spelling correction in the space where the question is and nothing for the comments.
i think they are actually changing the colors or yahoo answers because i asked the staff in one of their questions and got lots of thumbs ups.
Can you put your spelling corrections in more of the places that we have the opportunity to type something?

I hope that you guys are actually fixing the problems rather than making it worse, like the previous “updates” on the user interface. The misspelling notification bubble was the worst idea ever conceived.
