Use My Yahoo! to get the latest from Answers
My Yahoo! (http://my.yahoo.com) is your personal starting page that you access with your username and password. You can personalize this page to display the modules you frequently use, the news of your country or region, your favorite sports, the groups you belong to, or any other service from Yahoo! or elsewhere on the Web (including Yahoo! Answers, of course!).
To add Answers to your My Yahoo! page, visit http://my.yahoo.com and sign in.
You will see a page like this:

To personalize your page, click any of these buttons at the top of the page:
![]()
- Clicking Add Content lets you select from a list of content modules and RSS feeds.
To add an Answers module:
- Type “Yahoo! Answers” in the search box.
- Click the yellow button.
- In the search results, click the module(s) you wish to add.
To add an Answers RSS feed:
- Click “Add RSS Feed”.
- Type “http://answers.yahoo.com” in the box.
- Click the “Add” button.
- Clicking Change Appearance allows you to change the colors and style of your page.
- Clicking More Options lets you fine-tune your settings.
You can drag and drop the modules to place them exactly where you want (for example, you move the most interesting content to the top of your page).
Adding an Answers module on your My Yahoo! page will keep you up-to-date on everything that’s going on in the community. You can also add the Answers blog to My Yahoo! to keep track of the latest posts.
If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed!

That would be great except that the module on my page says that the latest content was added over a year ago…
No Thanks

Yeah i like the regular yahoo better, but my yahoo was cool to have.
Great – now how do we get rid of the slow loading rubbish that we DON’T want to see at all?
ew i hate that
page!
And still the Yahoo Answers search functions and RSS search feeds do not work properly and sort functions requested for the last two years do not exist.
Yahoo Answers marches on!!
Good subject! I always say that most users are not aware of the tools that YA already has… many come to the Suggestions Board to ask for some functionality that is already there.
Could you also blog about how to combine Advanced Search and RSS to get Qs on specific subjects? I’m sure lots of people would like that.
And… btw… could you also put up a banner or something like that warning people to NOT click on links that they’re not sure about? It’s basic knowledge for most experienced internet users, but not all YA users are savvy at all. Thanks!
Interesting that YA is removing and censoring comments that are critical of them from this thread.
I take that back. The system is just not showing all the comments all the time. My apologies.
@Cali – great idea for a blog post! Thanks for sending on the suggestion – Mitzi
No thanks, I have enough stuff on my My MyYahoo page already.
